System Description
NOW is a system that manages the climatic well-being of indoor spaces, basically made up of a Control Unit for the management of the motorized Modulating Electronic Head(s), which are applied to the thermostatically-controlled radiator valve for domestic heating.
The Control Unit permits to control a maximum of 40 devices (among MEH, Generator Master, Generator Master Built-in e Comfort Drive, exception made for the Repeater).
The MEH and CD control can be located or multiple, depending on how the setups for the rooms of a home or a building are divided (example: three rooms with one MEH each, a room with a RC and a MEH and two rooms with a MEH each).
The CU permits a weekly setting divided into daily time slots and it also has alternative working schedules (ex: holiday, cleaning etc..).
Control Unit (CU) and Modulating Electronic Head (MEH) aside, NOW system is divided into:
- Generator Master (GM) to manage the heating generator (On and Off or a change in the Setpoint), just like the Generator Master BUILT-IN;
- Generator Master Built-in (GMB) to manage the heating generator (On and Off or a change in the Setpoint), just like the GM;
and these attachments:
- Comfort Drive (CD), a device that measures and transmits the revealed temperature and the setpoint setting in a room. The IRSAP button allows you to spread the setpoint to a group of paired rooms.
- Repeater (RR) a fundamental device that extends the Control Unit signal in case – due to specific work conditions – it is weak and does not guarantee the correct communication between CU and MEH. It is possible to get more than one Repeater installed to make sure that wider systems function properly.
All the devices work by Wireless connection with the Control Unit they are paired with. The communication may take a few minutes.
